About. . .                                          Jet Dana        Launch in external player     To see video, click on "Launch in external player" above.   It all started even before I went to elementary school.  There came this whirlwind, this small tornado that swept across my back yard, picking up my mother’s clothespin basket, spilling it all over the place.  It almost didn’t matter that no one else saw this event and that nobody believed my story.  I had a profound sense, even back then, of the magical, the mystical, of a reality beyond the reality that everyone else believed in.  I had witnessed something that no one else could even imagine.  I shared my first secret with the universe.     I also knew even back then that I wanted to "write," scribbling pages and pages of "stories" even before I knew the meaning of words.    As a youth, I felt very different from others; separate somehow, retreating to my room, going to sleep riding my magic flying carpet into the cosmos, living in the dream world of Children's Literature . . . enchanted forests inhabited by mythical creatures.   I ran from a harsh reality where I felt like a misfit, and retreated into metaphysical worlds.    As a young teen, I began researching contemporary and then ancient philosophies; mind-over-matter disciplines.  As an adult, I continue to be fascinated by the forces that dominate this vast universe, continuing with my research and study, and becoming a  conduit through which information flows, weaving together the essence of ancient wisdoms and mind-over-matter concepts, and sharing with you my own experiences with them along my pathway to personal growth and self-discovery.  Thus . . . ReCreate University,  a synthesis of mind-over-matter principles from some of the best and brightest; the same principles that run as a common thread through ancient as well as contemporary texts.  We create our own reality . . . either by default . . . in not taking control of our lives, accepting whatever comes our way; or by getting our teeth into it and shaking it to get the most out of it.  It is a personal choice. . . either way!  Life is the most important journey of all time.  Make the most of it!  ReCreate yourself!  Decide “To be!”

I have worked in communications management most of my life as well as in multimedia, writing copy for brochures, catalogs, and the web; writing as well as recording radio commercials; doing voiceovers and television commercials; appearing on several talk shows as part of various marketing strategies; and writing and recording songs (as studio demos). Thus I present . . .  “Trouble Again,” the first book in the “Reuben the Rabbit” Series (a wonderful “read-to” book for the very youngest children; read-alone book for older youngsters),  now available on the web.  Like timeless “Sesame Street” material, it is written for all ages, including the grownups.  It is written for families to enjoy together.  It is the first of four (or more) children’s books in the series, fully illustrated in my own style (Metaphysical Comic Fantasy art); a book that many say is truly on its way to becoming a classic in the fashion of Christopher Robbins’ “Pooh” stories or Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” and a book that will, as well, have a positive impact on the emotional well-being of children who will learn from Reuben’s example the mind-over-matter, character-building principles passed on, many in “Seuss-like” rhymes, drawing from some of the most well-known, well-established and even historic mind-over-matter; positive thinking gurus of all time!
